1st tour of 2014!

hello, everyone! finally we found out how we can post some pictures again. thank you for your patience! since we have not posted pictures since October there will be quite a few coming up :)

:: then, because of an ice storm the rest of the crusade was canceled...::

 :: because of the ice storm, there were many volunteers stuck in the hotel for a day or 2, so we decided to order some pizza and make salad for around 100 people :) ::

:: we love it when our schedule works out so that we can enjoy hearing other groups sing for a change... that was the case on Valentines Day when we went to hear Triumphant! ::

it's a new year!

Hello, everyone! Due to some issues with the blog we have not been posting for an embarrassing amount of time. For some unknown reason we still cannot post any pictures, so when that works again be prepared for a whole bunch of 'em!


Since we last posted we have moved back to Manitoba, did 10 widow/widower banquets, celebrated the birth of our Savior with many family and friends, and spent some precious time with the little niece, Shakirah Brielle, and Josh & Steph.
 Since the new year we have made over 600 birthday cards for the widows that will be mailed out anytime from now till June. We still have another 400+ more for the rest of the year. We are blessed to have so many friends that enjoy crafting like that!
After 3 months at home we were ready to get back on the road again, although we miss our home, church, family and friends when we are gone for 4 months at a time :)


As of now, we are travelling to our first stop on tour which is in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Dad is driving the bus along a slightly snowy highway, Mom is preparing for the evening service, Julia is practising some vocals, Tania is sitting in the "co-pilot" seat uploading the blog :) , Tyrell is catching up on some math, and Lonita is busying herself by the writing desk. Jesus blessed us tremendously with a 1 minute border crossing yesterday, which we are very thankful for!


We are all looking forward to the upcoming services and prison crusade in SC. It is such a treat for us to spend time with fellow singers and volunteers! We have made many precious memories through the years and are looking forward to many more. Our schedule for the upcoming weeks is as follows:
