End of Tour Pictures

The blog has been rather neglected over the last few weeks, but here's a quick update with pics. After a week of having the bus at the garage, we were able to go pick it up and travel home with it (thank you all for your prayers!). Our time in Alberta was very enjoyable (Jake has 2 sisters living there and Margie has 1). We got home Monday afternoon and dove right into widows banquets prep (practicing new songs, sewing dresses, preparing decor, baking cakes, and more!). We all agree it sure is good to be home! :)

The two rental cars we traveled to Lethbridge with while the bus was being repaired.
We were asked to come to school and do something for the kids - we chose to do a character class on obedience. This is the story of the "Obedient Elephant" *grin

The kids were wonderful and so attentive!

The church in Grassy Lake hosted a dessert night to help with the bus fund. We were greatly blessed and humbled at the outcome... Thank you all for your hard work and generous giving... May God bless you!

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend from out West!

Well, the penner family is out west, enjoying the crisp (and very cool) fall weather. We've had a full schedule so far, but enjoying it nontheless. We realize we don't have to worry about being effective, all we have to do is be faithful - then God can use us best!

Out to eat Mexican for a treat :)

We had a day off so we grabbed the chance to practice some
new instrumentals for the upcoming widows' banquets.

.....so we grab every chance we get!
The kids loved the idea of having school outside! Yes, we
have a new appreciation for campgrounds :)
